This domain assesses the ability to design and structure livestock enterprises around defined production objectives, resource availability, and market opportunities. Competence includes planning production cycles, determining enterprise scale, allocating farm resources effectively, and organizing production systems to support consistent performance and long-term enterprise viability.
This domain evaluates the capability to coordinate and supervise daily livestock production activities. It includes maintaining operational discipline, organizing farm workflows, monitoring production performance, managing farm personnel, and ensuring that production systems operate efficiently throughout the livestock production cycle.
This domain focuses on maintaining herd or flock health and preventing disease risks within livestock operations. Competence includes coordinating animal health programs, implementing vaccination and disease prevention protocols, monitoring herd health indicators, and enforcing biosecurity practices that protect livestock enterprises from health-related production losses.
This domain assesses the ability to design and manage feeding systems that support optimal animal growth, productivity, and health. It includes feed planning, feed procurement and storage management, ration management, feed efficiency optimization, and cost-effective nutrition strategies for different livestock production systems.
This domain evaluates competence in managing the financial performance of livestock enterprises. It includes budgeting, cost tracking, feed cost management, input utilization efficiency, financial record keeping, and the evaluation of enterprise profitability and economic sustainability.

It includes understanding market demand, maintaining product quality standards, planning production in line with market timing, managing sales channels, and ensuring that operations are guided by clear commercial objectives.
Before applying, candidates should familiarize themselves with the structure and scope of the certification examination. The CLFM exam evaluates professional competence across all core domains of livestock enterprise management.
Complete the CLFM Certification Application Form and submit the required registration and examination fee through the online portal or bank transfer.
Upon successful registration, candidates will receive the CLFM Certification Guide. This guide provides the complete outline of the certification framework, including the core domains of competence, the certification exam blueprint, and sample questions that illustrate the format and style of the examination.
Candidates may prepare independently using the CLFM Certification Guide as their primary reference resource. Those who prefer structured learning may also choose to prepare and study through one of the Accredited Training Partners of the Institute of Agribusiness Management Nigeria IAMN.
When you are ready to take the examination, select your preferred examination date. The CLFM certification examination is administered once each month.
The certification fee covers candidate registration, access to the CLFM Certification Guide, and participation in the proctored certification examination.
Candidates may complete their registration and pay the applicable certification fee through the online application portal. Applicants who prefer bank payment may also pay directly into the Institute’s designated account using the details below.
After making payment, candidates should send the payment slip or transaction receipt to: certification@agribusinessnigeria.org
Candidates who meet the certification requirements are formally awarded the CLFM and issued a digital certificate.

Individuals who successfully earn the Certified Livestock Farm Manager (CLFM) certification are entitled to use the CLFM designation as part of their professional credentials.

Holders of the Certified Livestock Farm Manager (CLFM) certification are expected to uphold high standards of professional integrity, responsibility, and ethical conduct in the management of livestock enterprises.
Certified professionals should demonstrate honesty in professional practice, responsible stewardship of farm resources, commitment to animal welfare, and adherence to sound management practices that promote sustainable and responsible livestock production.
Any misuse of the CLFM designation or conduct that undermines the professional standards of the certification may result in review or withdrawal of certification by the Institute of Agribusiness Management Nigeria.
Candidates who do not achieve a passing score on the Certified Livestock Farm Manager (CLFM) certification examination are eligible to retake the examination.
To support candidate success, the Institute of Agribusiness Management Nigeria allows candidates to resit the certification examination at no additional certification fee, up to a maximum of three attempts.
Resit examinations must be scheduled within the approved examination cycle, and candidates are encouraged to review the CLFM Certification Guide and strengthen their understanding of the core domains of competence before attempting the examination again.
Candidates who do not successfully pass the examination after the maximum number of attempts may be required to submit a new application and pay the applicable certification fee to re-enter the certification process.
