Program Overview

The One Year Postgraduate Diploma in Food and Agribusiness Management program of Lead City University Ibadan, is designed for emerging food and agribusiness leaders who want to have successful footprints on their agribusiness career. The program is designed for ambitious individuals with strong desires to excel in cross functional roles and settings within the agribusiness sectors, bringing together knowledge and expertise from different fields. At the end of the course, graduates will be able to:

Understand operational and management frameworks in the Upstream, Midstream and Downstream Food and Agricultural Productions.
Analyze trends in the global food system and use the derivates to make important business decisions that will upscale performance.
Develop conceptual and practical skillsets needed to become an effective agribusiness manager with cross-functional roles in production, marketing, human resources, strategy, operations and general management.
Understand how to manage strategic growth of agrifood enterprises in an increasingly complex global food and agricultural marketplace.

The Final award on this program is Postgraduate Diploma in Food and Agribusiness Management of Lead City University, Ibadan, Nigeria.

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

Candidates seeking admission to the PGD Food and Agribusiness Management program must have minimum of an HND/BSc qualification from recognized institutions. Holders of professional qualifications such as ACCA, ACIB, ANAN e.t.c can also apply.

DURATION AND MODE OF ATTENDANCE

The program duration is one year. The program is structured into a blended model to allow busy professionals combine studying with full time work engagements.
